1. 3M Curve (3MC)

If you’ve spent any time researching Rocky Mountain National Park elopements, you’ve probably come across images where couples look like they are on top of the valley and still somehow have giant mountains behind them… this is 3MC.

This iconic overlook has the most breathtaking mountain views in the entire park. From the ceremony site, you have an incredible view of Longs Peak and the surrounding mountain ranges behind you.

The beauty of 3M Curve is that it feels grand without requiring you to do any crazy hike. Couples can easily access the location while still experiencing that awe inspiring feeling of standing above the world together.

2. Sprague Lake

The flat trail surrounding the lake makes it accessible for nearly everyone, the mountains across the water create some of the most beautiful photo opportunities in Estes Park for an accessible elopement location.

There’s something incredibly intimate about standing beside the water, reading your vows while the mountains reflect behind you. Sprague lake feels timeless and has an adorable dock that creates a “ceremony site” for your vows! This is one of my favorite water Locations to Elope in Estes Park!

• Gorgeous lake and mountain backdrop
• Easy access and low strain trail to the dock
• 15 guests limit during the summer, 30 during winter seasons

Sprague is absolutely beautiful year round whether the flowers are blooming or the lake is frozen over.

3. Moraine Park

If you imagine exchanging vows surrounded by wide open meadows with mountains rising in every direction, Moraine Park might be your perfect spot.

This location captures the feeling of Rocky Mountain National Park in its purest form. Expansive fields, abundant wildlife, and panoramic views create an atmosphere that feels both adventurous and deeply connected to nature.

One of my favorite things about Moraine Park is the sense of space. Couples can truly soak in the moment without feeling crowded or rushed. It is one of my favorite Locations to Elope in Estes Park because it is so open and diverse!

It’s also one of the best places to spot elk, especially during the fall rut season, which can be really fun!

There are 13 spots inside RMNP that ceremonies are allowed — YES THIS INCLUDES “just saying your vows”! If you are holding any sort of official ceremony or vow ceremony you do need a permit in the park! Permits tend to go quickly for summer dates, if you cannot get a permit I am more than happy to give you alternative ceremony locations as well!
